Wagon Wheel Jr. is an educational branch of Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts geared toward serving the youth of northern Indiana. We offer performance based learning experiences by presenting multiple musicals each season. The caliber of these shows lives up to the Wagon Wheel name, and it’s all made possible through the professional theatre staff coupled with the volunteer efforts of the kids, parents, and their families.  We also offer acting classes, dance classes, and summer musical theatre workshops.

If your child is interested in the performing arts, Wagon Wheel Jr. is the best place to begin!

With this experience under their belt, students enhance many transferable skills such as creativity, discipline, teamwork, and confidence that apply to many areas beyond just performing arts. Many Wagon Wheel Jr. students have gone on to perform in Wagon Wheel Theatre professional shows during the summer and holiday seasons.

Since its inception in 2012, the Wagon Wheel Jr. program has become one of our biggest areas of growth and pride as are youth explore, learn, and grow in a professional theatrical atmosphere.

Below is a behind-the-scenes video of our most recent production of Trial of the Wicked Witch: The Musical.  You get to see details of the rehearsal process for our local area youth and also the impact that WWJR has on each individual involved.
