Wagon Wheel Conservatory is excited to announce their 2021 Summer Workshops.
These workshops are led by theater professionals and are available at different times during the summer for students who have completed grades 1 through 12. Each workshop culminates in a final performance on the Wagon Wheel stage.
Summer Tykes: Grades 1-2, July 12th – July 16th, 9:30am-12:30pm
This five-day workshop is built around story-theater, fun crafts, and a final performance that will take place on the Wagon Wheel stage for family and friends.
Summer Play: Grades 3-4, July 19th – July 23rd, 9:30am-12:30pm
This five-day workshop will take students through acting and movement exercises that will build confidence and further the students’ knowledge of acting technique. A final performance will take place on the Wagon Wheel stage for family and friends.
Theater Workshop: Grades 5-7, June 7th – June 11th, 9:00am-1:00pm
This five-day workshop will take students through acting, voice, and movement exercises that will culminate in a dynamic final performance on the Wagon Wheel stage. The student actors will be challenged throughout the week to deepen their understanding of the craft of acting and strengthen important life-skills.
Musical Theater Workshop: Grades 8-12, June 16th – June 26th, 9:30am-4:30pm
Students will experience the thrill of a Wagon Wheel summer as they mount a full-length Broadway musical in eleven days. Working alongside industry professionals, students enrolled in this workshop will get training in acting, singing, and dancing while working towards a final production on the Wagon Wheel stage for friends and family.
